Cyber Security Expert with Airspace Management

Airservices Australia, a government-owned organisation responsible for managing 11% of the world's airspace and providing aviation rescue fire fighting services at major airports.
About the RoleWe are seeking a Cyber Security Officer to join our team in Brisbane or Canberra, working in a hybrid environment. This is a two-year fixed-term full-time position offering a remuneration range of $95,773 to $100,542 plus 14% superannuation.
Key Responsibilities- SUPPORT THE DELIVERY OF CYBER SECURITY CAPABILITY ACROSS AIRSERVICES AUSTRALIA.
- ANALYSE CYBER THREATS AND SUPPORT DAY-TO-DAY SECURITY ACTIVITIES WITHIN CYBER OPERATIONS, GOVERNANCE, AND SECURITY SOLUTIONS ENGINEERING SPACE.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Cyber security industry certifications and/or experience in customer-facing technical or security support environments.
- Strong investigative analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to deliver and support cyber security operational services.
- Familiarity with general information security concepts and practices, including common attack vectors, threat tactics, and attacker techniques.
- A proactive approach to customer issues and problem resolution, along with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- The ability to set clear objectives and monitor performance, build and maintain effective working relationships, and engage with key internal and external stakeholders.
