Transfer Pricing Specialist


About the Role:

We seek experts in international tax matters to join our Economist Practice team, a specialist group within International, Support and Programs.

This team is renowned for its strength in transfer pricing practices. As a Transfer Pricing Specialist, you will provide advice on complex international tax matters, particularly transfer pricing, base erosion, and profit shifting.

You will support both policy and compliance across the agency, delivering sophisticated economic analysis and advice on complex cross-border transactions.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Ensure alignment with the arm's length principle to support fair and accurate tax outcomes in accordance with Australian law.
  • Develop international tax strategies and innovative compliance initiatives.
  • Manage, coach and mentor junior team members and support training on economic or technical matters.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Expertise in transfer pricing and understanding of Australia's legislative and policy framework is essential.

Economic expertise to provide clear, detailed advice on complex issues with confidence and precision is also required.

Leadership skills to manage multiple priorities, stakeholders and resources effectively.

Excellent communication, coaching and team leadership skills are necessary.

Able to thrive in a fast-paced, analytical environment with global influence.
