Senior Tax Manager Job

We are seeking an experienced Senior Tax Manager to lead and grow our Indirect Tax practice.

About the Role
  • As a key advisor, you will work across federal and state-based taxes, including GST, stamp duty, land tax, and fuel tax credits.
  • Lead engagements across federal and/or state-based taxes depending on your expertise.
  • Manage and grow relationships with existing clients, identifying opportunities to add value.
  • Contribute to internal training, development, and team leadership.
  • Work cross-functionally with other service lines to deliver a seamless client experience.
  • Build a pipeline of work through your existing network and business development efforts.
Requirements
  • At least 6 years of experience in indirect tax (GST or state taxes).
  • Background in professional services, legal, ATO, or state-based revenue office.
  • Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Law, or related discipline.
  • Proven ability to advise, manage, and grow client relationships.
  • Commercial thinker with strong technical acumen.
  • Mentor and team leader with a collaborative, professional style.
  • Confident communicator with a strong sense of ownership.
