Job Description

The Mt Baw Baw Alpine Resort is seeking a skilled Resort Operations Attendant to join their Road Crew Team. As a key member of the Operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring safe movement around the resort by clearing snow from roads and car parks.

You will have access to heavy machinery, including snowploughs, and will be required to hold a Heavy Rigid licence. When not clearing snow, you will assist the Resort Ops team with tasks such as traffic management, chain fitting, waste/recycling collection, and general customer service.

This is an excellent opportunity to work outdoors in a dynamic environment, with a focus on safety and attention to detail. You will be provided with snow gear to keep you warm and comfortable during your shifts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clear snow from roads and car parks using heavy machinery
  • Assist with traffic management, chain fitting, and waste/recycling collection
  • Provide general customer service and support to the Resort Ops team

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 1+ years' experience driving heavy machinery or similar vehicles
  • A Heavy Rigid Licence (highly desirable)
  • Experience working with chainsaws, tree felling, and skid steer equipment (desirable)
  • Outstanding attention to detail and safety consciousness
  • A love of working outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Availability to work weekends and school holidays
  • Availability from June to 30 September (or the declared snow season)
