Project Officer Role Overview

This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team in delivering infrastructure safety improvements.

The Role

We are seeking a skilled Project Officer to provide administrative support to program and project managers. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to interpret and apply financial policies and procedures.

  • Prepare and process financial documents, including journals, goods receipts, invoices, requisitions, and purchase orders.
  • Coordinate and administer contract documentation, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and guidelines.
  • Undertake reporting on programs, projects, and contracts to ensure accurate tracking and timely completion.
  • Update program, project, and contract information in project management software and systems.
Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Providing administrative support to program and project managers.
  • Interpreting and applying financial policies and procedures.

  • Coordinating and administering contract documentation.
