Infrastructure Safety Improvement Officer

Support the delivery of a significant infrastructure safety improvement initiative for the Bruce Highway.

  • Apply financial policies and procedures to deliver projects successfully.
  • Prepare and manage financial documents, including journals, goods receipts, invoices, requisitions, and purchase orders.
  • Coordinate contract documentation and administer project records.

The Role and Its Responsibilities

The Infrastructure Safety Improvement Officer will provide administrative support to program and project managers in delivering the Queensland Transport and Road Investment Program (QTRIP). Key responsibilities include:

  • Interpreting and applying financial policies and procedures.
  • Preparing and managing financial documents.
  • Coordinating contract documentation and administering project records.
  • Undertaking reporting and tracking to ensure accurate data and early warnings of deviations.

This is an ongoing opportunity that allows applicants to remain current for 12 months.
