Honourable Associate to Justice

About this Position:
- We are seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to assist Justice Hannon in her chambers and support her work in the Common Law Division of the Supreme Court of Victoria.
Justice Hannon requires a strong team member who will contribute to the establishment of her chambers and provide administrative support.
Key Responsibilities:- Assisting with judgment production, including proofreading and editing
- Clerking in court
- Reviewing files and orders
- Performing administrative tasks, such as maintaining court records and preparing material for use by the judge in court
- Preparing research memoranda
- Liaising with court staff, the public, the media and the legal profession
- Exceptional communication skills, including telephone, in-person and written communication
- Strong proofreading and writing skills, with proficiency in grammar and an excellent academic record
- Must be qualified in Law, with 1-2 years post-admission experience desirable but not essential
