Job Opportunity
The Honourable Justice Hannon is seeking a legally qualified individual to be her Associate.
This exciting opportunity will allow you to assist in establishing her Honour's chambers and commencement in the Court.
Justice Hannon has a background in commercial law, public and administrative law, environment and planning law and alternative dispute resolution.
She sits in the Common Law Division of the Supreme Court of Victoria.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting with the production of judgments, including proofreading and editing
- Clerking in court
- Reviewing files and orders
- Performing administrative tasks, including maintaining court records and preparing material for use by the judge in court
- Preparing research memoranda
- Liaising with court staff, the public, the media and the profession
Requirements
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Exceptional proofreading and writing skills
- Proficiency in grammar
- An excellent academic record
- Must be qualified in Law
