Teaching Opportunity

The Department of Education seeks a skilled and dedicated individual for a fixed-term, full-time position at Narrogin Primary School.

About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity to work in a culturally responsive and context-specific manner to productively engage stakeholders.

  • Provide instructional leadership in the school, focusing on either curriculum, behaviour, disability or area of need.
  • Implement effective change strategies and provide leadership across the school community.
  • Facilitate workforce effectiveness and provide a role model for self-development to improve professional performance.
  • Establish and manage administrative and operational systems in the relevant area of responsibility.

You will also be responsible for:

  • Classroom teaching (up to 0.9 FTE).
  • Instructional leadership (additional minimum 0.1 FTE release time).
  • Mentoring staff.
  • Delivering professional learning.
  • Providing feedback.
Key Responsibilities

Please note that you must hold an eligible qualification, be a current Level 3 Classroom Teacher and have valid visa with relevant work rights for the term of the appointment.
