Site Maintenance Specialist


About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and physically fit individual to join our team as a Site Maintenance Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with tree removal and pruning, clearing debris, operating and maintaining tools and machinery, setting up and packing down job sites, supporting climbers and equipment operators, and maintaining a safe and tidy work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with tree removal and pruning tasks to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Clearing of debris, dragging branches, and chipping brush to maintain a clean and organized site.
  • Operate and maintain tools and machinery (e.g., chainsaws, chippers) to optimize performance and minimize downtime.
  • Set up and pack down job sites to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow.
  • Support climbers and equipment operators during tree work operations.
  • Maintain a safe and tidy work environment at all times, adhering to company safety protocols and procedures.

  • Physical fitness and ability to perform manual outdoor work in varying weather conditions.
  • Reliability and strong work ethic, with a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
  • Safety-conscious attitude and ability to follow instructions and procedures.

Bonus Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in arboriculture or landscaping, with a focus on tree care and maintenance.
  • White Card (Construction Induction) certification, demonstrating a commitment to workplace safety.
  • Chainsaw ticket and driver's licence (manual preferred), enhancing mobility and flexibility.
