Facilities Coordinator Job Overview

This role is for an experienced Facilities Coordinator to manage and maintain facilities, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment.

  • Manage maintenance and repair requests efficiently and effectively.
  • Prepare and review invoices before obtaining approval.
  • Coordinate responses to reported issues and supervise maintenance staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage the system, capturing all Preventative and Reactive work orders for the site.
  2. Evaluate and allocate work orders to meet contract requirements and KPIs.
  3. Monitor and report hazards across the site for a safer working environment.
  4. Supervise maintenance and support staff, ensuring smooth execution of maintenance works.
  5. Collaborate with the national Operations team to ensure SLAs are consistently met.
  6. Work closely with the BCSC (Helpdesk) to streamline processes.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated experience in a property or corporate real estate environment.
  • Ability to excel in an integrated services and property model.
  • Strong business acumen with proficiency in business planning and financial knowledge.
  • Knowledge of building services and general building maintenance.
  • Proven experience in scoping, tendering, and documenting subcontracts.
  • Capacity to multitask various duties effectively.
