Job Title: HR Business Partner

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced HR Business Partner to join our team. As an HR Business Partner, you will play a key role in managing employee-related matters and ensuring seamless operation of the employee lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure compliance with legislation and organisational policies by providing guidance and support to employees and management.
  • Manage the creation and dissemination of HR documents such as Flexible Working Arrangements, termination letters, warnings, pay increase letters, and job descriptions.
  • Process leave requests, including Maternity/Parental Leave, Study Leave, Leave Without Pay, Jury Duty, and Emergency Leave.
  • Provide timely and accurate HR advice across the business to support informed decision-making.
  • Conduct regular reviews to monitor progress and address any issues or concerns.
  • Manage dispute resolution for frontline employees in collaboration with managers.
  • Advise employees on workplace policies and enterprise agreements.
  • Manage employment termination processes in conjunction with the HR Manager and Senior HR Business Partner.
  • Provide coaching and support to managers to enhance people management and capability.
  • Support grievance handling, performance management, industrial relations, and EEO matters.
  • Collaborate with the Senior HR Business Partner on complex people-related matters.
  • Handle ad hoc HR requests and queries.
Requirements
  • Responsible Service of Alcohol certification is highly desirable.
  • Diploma in HR or related discipline is essential.
  • Minimum 2-3 years' experience in an HR role, preferably in retail, hospitality, or the service sector.
  • Strong knowledge of HR policies and practices, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, relationship management and influencing capabilities, and high levels of organisation and efficiency.
