Job OpportunityJob Description:

The position of Resident Solutions Architect, ML & GenAI presents a unique opportunity to collaborate with clients on medium-term customer engagements focused on addressing their ML & AI challenges using the Databricks Data Intelligent platform.

  • Deliver data science and cloud technology projects requiring integration with client systems, training, and other technical tasks to maximize customer value from their data.
  • As a Machine Learning / GenAI Resident Solutions Architect (RSA), work closely with the Databricks technical team, Project Manager, Architect, and Customer team to ensure technical components of the engagement meet customer needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work on impactful data science and machine learning use cases including building solution architecture, MLOPs frameworks, MVPs, and production-grade applications.
  • Guide strategic customers through transformational data science and Generative AI projects, encompassing end-to-end design, build, and deployment of industry-leading AI applications.
  • Consult on ML architecture and design; implement strategic customer projects leading to successful understanding, evaluation, and adoption of Databricks solutions.
  • Provide escalated support for customer operational issues.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience in the following preferably in a customer-facing post-sales, technical architecture of consulting role:
    • ML Engineer: Develop and maintain production-grade cloud infrastructure supporting the deployment of ML applications.
    • Data Scientist: Familiarity with latest techniques in machine learning and Generative AI processing, including vector databases, fine-tuning LLMs, and deploying LLMs with tools like HuggingFace, Langchain, and OpenAI.
  • Proficiency in writing code in either Python or Scala.
  • Experience with technical project delivery - managing scope and timelines.
  • Documentation and white-boarding skills.
  • Experience working with clients and managing conflicts.
  • Development of skills in technical areas supporting the deployment and integration of Databricks-based solutions for customer projects.
  • Travel to customers 20 - 30% of the time.
