About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Concrete Foreman to join our team at Buildability Group. As a Concrete Foreman, you will be responsible for leading and mentoring a team of concreters and formworkers, ensuring the successful delivery of projects.

Key Responsibilities:

* Supervise and coordinate daily operations of concreting and formwork teams on-site
* Ensure all work is completed to the highest standards, within budget, and on schedule
* Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and specifications
* Lead and mentor a team of concreters and formworkers, fostering a culture of safety and quality
* Liaise with site supervisors, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth workflow
* Monitor and manage the use of materials and equipment
* Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
* Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the concreting and formwork processes

Requirements:

* Proven experience as a Leading Hand or Foreman in concreting and formwork
* Strong leadership and team management skills
* Excellent knowledge of concreting techniques, materials, and tools
* Ability to read and understand construction plans and specifications
* Solid understanding of safety procedures and regulations in the construction industry
* Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
* High attention to detail and a commitment to delivering quality work
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Relevant trade qualifications or certifications are highly desirable
