**THE COMPANY**

Are you passionate about sustainable construction and looking to work with a leading high-end construction team?
We are currently partnering with a family-run business who have been in the Rammed Earth industry for over 30 years. Collaborating with top designers, architects and contractors in the industry, they operate both large-scale commercial and retail projects.
We are looking for a Foreman specialising in rammed earth construction to play a crucial role in a 12-month project starting in early March. You will be responsible for overseeing a large-scale project; leading a highly-skilled team and maintaining effective and timely communication with project management.

**THE ROLE**

**This role is a contract role initially for approximately 4 weeks with the potential to go Temp to Perm after this period.**

**Responsibilities include;**
- Manage and lead a sizeable team; driving the project through to completion.
- Perform carpentry and formwork tasks, demonstrating exceptional expertise in rammed earth construction methods.
- Effectively interpret and implement architectural plans, ensuring accurate execution of the construction process.
- Create and maintain product schedules and safety protocols to ensure deadlines are met, and the safety of the site is kept to industry standards and regulations.
- Communicate effectively with the project manager to provide updates on project progress.

**SKILLS/EXPERIENCE**
- Qualified carpenter with a minimum of 10 years of experience in formwork carpentry.
- Demonstrated experience in carpentry and formwork, particularly in rammed-earth construction. Proficient in reading and interpreting architectural plans.
- A basic understanding of steel fixing and concreting practices.
- Hold a valid NSW driver’s license.
- You must have your own tools inclusive of a: Hammer, circular saw, nail bag, level and tape at the very minimum.
