We support the community in preventing, preparing for, responding to and recovering from fire and emergency events.
Our team encompasses a wide range of services, including fire rescue, disaster management, rural fire service and state emergency service. We work closely with volunteer groups to provide emergency response to our community.
Purpose of the Role
Our Ses Project and Capability Development team delivers on our organisational priorities and objectives. We manage Ses governance and capability functions, implement new projects and initiatives through business support to Ses Regions and volunteers.
You will contribute to developing and implementing products and resources for a contemporary Ses Doctrine Framework. You will liaise with stakeholders, Ses volunteers, and the organisational doctrine team.
The role supports reviewing and quality assurance of Ses doctrine, policy, procedures and documentation to manage Ses capability and service delivery.
Key Requirements
A highly desirable requirement is knowledge and understanding of reviewing, maintaining and/or improving organisational doctrine, policy (and process) management systems and frameworks.
Your Key Accountabilities
You are responsible for various work including:
- Assist with the development, implementation, review and improvement of policies, procedures and knowledge documents to meet Ses operational service delivery.
- Provide advice and support to stakeholders in relation to the Ses doctrine framework.
- Undertake research, analysis and identify opportunities to improve and further develop Ses doctrine products and processes.
- Liaise and maintain effective relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
- Assist in preparing and reviewing reports, briefs, submissions and correspondence relating to Ses doctrine framework and/or issues.
- Contribute to the development, implementation and maintenance of strategic projects as required.
