Job Description

This role is based in Australia and plays a key part in supporting the state's goal of net zero emissions by 2050. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing engagement and communication strategies to promote the NSW Decarbonisation Hub and its programs.

The Communications & Engagement Officer will work closely with the CEO, Business Managers and Administrators to drive engagement for the Hub. This includes content development, coordination of events and roadshows, social media and web management, and stakeholder engagement.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A relevant tertiary qualification with subsequent experience or equivalent competence gained through any combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Proven track record in the delivery of marketing strategies that achieve measurable outcomes in support of organisational objectives.
  • Demonstrated experience in distilling complex information into straightforward messages for communication to a diverse group of stakeholders in support of strategic goals.
  • Extensive knowledge of communication platforms including traditional, digital, and social channels.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills, with the ability to balance multiple projects of varying importance, scale and stakeholder involvement and meet required deadlines.
