About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join Paulsens as a Mine Surveyor, responsible for providing survey requirements for underground mine operations, surface infrastructure, and exploration. The successful candidate will ensure all statutory requirements and company safety, health, and social responsibility standards and procedures are met.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a reliable survey control network (underground and surface) that will seamlessly operate within the mining cycle.
  • Collaborate with the underground mining and site teams to develop and optimize daily and weekly production plans and support these plans being implemented and completed.
  • Provide accurate and timely survey control, including set out and pickup of activities, to enable production and development requirements to be carried out efficiently.

Requirements

  • Diploma in Mine Surveying (minimum).
  • 1-2 years' experience as a mine surveyor.
  • Motivation to work towards obtaining grade authorization is desirable and supported.
  • Working knowledge in mine surveying software with exposure to or experience using Deswik (or ability to learn quickly and efficiently).
