Supply Chain Management Opportunity

The Role:

As Supply Chain Manager, you will oversee key functional areas within the Supplying & Distribution Department.

Responsibilities:

  • Create and monitor distribution procedures and policies for food safety regulations.
  • Monitor storage arrangements and policies of all food produced.
  • Supervise picking and packing staff engaged in preparing food items for distribution.
  • Negotiate and monitor contracts with delivery services.
  • Communicate with customers regarding delivery schedules and amendments.
  • Liaise with production manager and farm manager regarding stock levels and seasonal variations.
  • Monitor quantity, cost, and efficiency of movement and storage of farm produce.
  • Review and approve purchase orders for packing supplies.
  • Monitor progress of major deliveries to ensure receipt.
  • Control and manage warehouse stocks for produce storage and distribution.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a related field.
  • High level of interpersonal skills and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to multi-task and work under pressure.
  • Passion for excellence, accuracy, and urgency in warehouse roles.
