Lettings Division Credit Management Specialist

We are seeking a seasoned Credit Controller to join our lettings division in Lee, SE12. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for maintaining effective rent arrears chasing processes and managing rent insurance claims.
Key Responsibilities:
- Rent arrears chasing and follow-up communication with tenants and landlords.
- Managing rent insurance claims, including pre and post-vacant possession procedures.
- Adjusting rent due dates, calculating required payments, and updating systems accordingly.
- Chasing unpaid invoices from landlords and tenants.
- Crediting rent demands on tenancy ledgers.
- Generating periodic statements for landlords.
- Adding custom fees to landlord accounts as necessary.
Requirements:
- Proven track record in credit control, preferably in the lettings industry.
- Familiarity with Section 21 and Section 8 notices is advantageous.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
- High-quality administrative skills and attention to detail.
Benefits:
