The Opportunity

As a Podiatric Care Specialist across the Sydney region, you'll be part of an organisation that values its people, health & well-being, and offers a flexible approach to work-life balance. Our understanding of the region means we'll work with you to find locations that suit best.

We limit the number of consultations per day to ensure you have time to provide quality care, education, and assessments to your patients and build lasting relationships.

In this role, you'll provide high-quality podiatric care to residents at a range of aged care facilities, corporate health hubs, and client homes with regular treatments, building relationships to enhance overall health and wellbeing.

Responsibilities

  1. Assessing, diagnosing, treating, and evaluating abnormalities and diseases related to the foot and lower limb.
  2. Diabetic foot health assessments.
  3. Contributing to patient chronic disease management plans.
  4. Providing treatment for high-risk patient groups.
  5. Offering footwear and foot care advice and education to patients, family members, staff, and carers.
  6. Referring patients to other healthcare professionals as necessary.
  7. Conducting biomechanical assessments.
  8. Maintaining quality documentation and treatment planning procedures.
  9. Completing administrative tasks, such as maintaining stock levels, ensuring equipment is in good working order, and submitting daily reports and handovers to staff.

About You

We're seeking experienced or new graduate clinicians who share our vision to improve healthcare in Australia by working with patients to enhance their foot function and mobility.

This role is ideal for a qualified, fully AHPRA-registered Podiatrist. While ideally having a minimum 1-year experience in a community or Aged Care setting is beneficial, it's not essential. As a mobile Podiatrist, you'll need to be comfortable traveling to our clients and should provide your own vehicle.
