About the Role

As an Advanced Foot Health Specialist, you will play a vital role in enhancing mobility and foot health for our community members. With a strong focus on preventive and early intervention strategies, you will deliver comprehensive range of foot and ankle services tailored to meet the unique needs of our local population.

In this rewarding role, you will harness your advanced clinical skills to craft personalized care plans for routine foot care, as well as tackle complex issues like diabetic foot complications and sports injuries. You will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to achieve exceptional patient outcomes and advance overall foot health.

You will be supported by a seasoned podiatrist and will have opportunities to mentor and guide allied health professionals, assistants, and students. This position offers the chance to make a significant impact on community health by delivering integrated and effective podiatric services.

Key Responsibilities

  • To provide a broad spectrum of foot and ankle health services to individuals of all ages, including routine foot care, treatment of conditions, and prevention of future problems.
  • To work closely with multidisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes and advance overall foot health.
  • To contribute to the development and implementation of health education programs that promote foot health awareness and prevention.
  • To maintain up-to-date knowledge of best practice and current research in podiatric medicine and surgery.

Requirements

  • A recognised qualification within a relevant Allied Health profession and eligibility for practicing membership of the relevant Professional Association.
  • Advanced clinical skills and experience in providing a broad spectrum of foot and ankle health services.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
  • A commitment to ongoing learning and professional development, with the ability to maintain up-to-date knowledge of best practice and current research in podiatric medicine and surgery.

Salary Package

This position attracts a competitive base salary range of $68,478 - $102,240 p.a., in addition to superannuation, leave loading, and salary sacrificing benefits.
