Podiatrist - Foot Care Specialist for Newcastle Community

We limit consultations per day to ensure quality time with patients and build long-lasting relationships. In this role, you will provide high-quality podiatric care to residents across aged care facilities, corporate health hubs, and clients' homes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assessing, diagnosing, treating, and evaluating abnormalities and diseases related to the foot and lower limb
  • Diabetic foot health assessments
  • Contributing towards the patient's chronic disease management plan
  • Provide treatment for high-risk patient groups
  • Offer footwear and foot care advice and education to patients, family members, staff, and carers
  • Make referrals to other healthcare professionals as appropriate
  • Biomechanical assessments
  • Maintain quality documentation and treatment planning procedures
  • Undertake a range of administrative tasks such as ensuring stock levels are maintained, and equipment is kept in good working order, daily reports, and handovers to all staff.

About You:

We're looking for experienced or new graduate clinicians who share our vision to shift the way healthcare is provided in Australia. As an experienced clinician, you'll be comfortable traveling to our clients located across the Newcastle region and provide your own vehicle.
