About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Structural Engineer to join our team at Australia Wide Engineering Recruitment. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for providing structural engineering design services using leading technology for steel and concrete structures, including foundations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop structural engineering solutions for a diverse range of projects
  • Inspect and appraise industry assets and structures to ensure compliance with relevant standards
  • Manage engineering projects, including supervision of drafting subcontractors
  • Foster strong relationships with clients to deliver mutually beneficial outcomes
  • Mentor and support engineering graduates and other team members

About You

  • Minimum Bachelor of Engineering degree qualification in civil engineering, with postgraduate qualifications in structural engineering highly regarded
  • At least 10 years of post-graduation experience working in an engineering role involving design of steel structures and foundations in Australia
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Ability to travel locally and interstate as required
