About the Role

\

We are seeking an apprentice to join our team as a Structures Aircraft Maintenance Engineer. Located at our Essendon Base, this exciting opportunity allows you to learn from industry-leading professionals while contributing to serving a purpose in our community.

Key Responsibilities

\
  • Maintain, service, and repair Babcock's aircraft in accordance with Company and manufacturer's procedures.
  • Work alongside experienced engineers to develop your skills and knowledge in the field of structures engineering.
  • Study towards your MEA41322 Diploma of Aeroskills (Structures) - 4 years.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A mechanical aptitude and passion for helicopters and aviation.
  • A minimum of Year 10 English and Mathematics.
  • The ability to obtain and hold an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC).
  • Good communication skills, including fluent spoken and written English.
