Workshop Supervisor

**About us**

Allspec Engineering is a world class ISO9001 Steel Fabricator working with various clients across the resources sector. Executing integrated engineering solutions from our new Hope Valley workshop.

Due to continued growth we are looking to strengthen our workshop team with the introduction of an additional **Workshop Supervisor** to the team. Joining Allspec you will be part of an experienced and energetic group of people who work together to deliver quality projects for our clients.

**About the role**

This role will report into and work closely with the Workshop Manager to ensure quality project delivery. We are looking for a strong leader who is able to supervise and drive the Tradesman and T/A's on the shop floor, as well as mentor and guide our Apprentices and School Based Trainees.

Key duties will include, but not be limited to;
- Plan, implement and coordinate the fabrication workshop activities in line with client deadlines.
- Supervision of workshop personnel.
- Mentor, guide and support the team to deliver desired results.
- Ensure HSE policies and procedures are adhered to, working to continuously identify performance improvements.
- Drive quality in line with 9001 QMS.
- Manage and resolve fabrication difficulties.
- Drive efficiencies - ensuring works are delivered on time.
- Liaison with the Project and Quality Teams to deliver the required scope of work.
- Liaison with the Workshop Manager to ensure the workshop has all the resources required to complete projects in a timely manner.

**About you**

We are looking for a Workshop Supervisor with experience in the fabrication and welding of Structural Steel work and Fixed Plant Machinery. You will also have;
- Boilermaker Trade qualification.
- High level attention to detail and quality control.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Ability to multitask and plan ahead.
- Strong problem solving ability.
- Ability to adapt to change.
- Previous experience in a Supervisory or Lead role.

**Salary**: $40.00 - $60.00 per hour
