About the Division:

The School Curriculum and Standards Division provides administrative and secretariat services for, and implements the decisions of the School Curriculum and Standards Authority (the Authority).

The Authority provides quality curriculum, assessment and standards to enable all Western Australian students to become confident, creative learners and active, informed citizens who contribute positively to society.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development and review of curriculum, assessment, and standards support materials for Years 7–10.
  • Oversee processes and deliverables associated with adopting and/or adapting the Australian Curriculum Version 9.0 for English Education (Years 7–10).
Essential Requirements:
  • Experienced Secondary English teachers with strong curriculum expertise are encouraged to apply.
  • Applicants should be familiar with the Western Australian Curriculum and Assessment Outline, with recent Years 7–10 teaching experience considered an advantage.
