Job TitleCurriculum Expert - Primary Education Specialist
About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled Curriculum Expert to join our team. As a key member of our School Curriculum and Standards Division, you will be responsible for providing expert services for curriculum development and assessment.
Main Responsibilities- Curriculum Development: Develop and review curriculum and assessment to support implementation of the Western Australian Curriculum and Assessment Outline.
- Teacher Support: Organise, facilitate and coordinate information sessions for staff from schools, regions, professional associations and school systems/sector. Conduct teacher seminars as required and facilitate consultation and collaborative processes between the systems, sector, schools and other stakeholder organisations.
- Project Management: Monitor, review and report on the implementation and delivery of curriculum initiatives, standards, projects and programs.
- Qualifications: Recognised qualification in teaching and registration to teach in Western Australia.
- Working with Children Check: Current Working with Children Check.
- Australian Residency: Australian or New Zealand citizenship, permanent residency or valid visa with relevant work rights.
- Curriculum Knowledge: Demonstrated high-level knowledge of curriculum and assessment in the context of the Western Australian Curriculum and Assessment Outline.
- Analytical Skills: Demonstrated high-order conceptual and analytical skills.
- Project Management: Demonstrated substantial project and program management skills.
- Communication Skills: Demonstrated highly developed communication and interpersonal skills.
- Leadership: Demonstrated ability to provide strategic leadership.
