Buckland Aged Care provides high-quality aged care services in the Lower Blue Mountains, creating a clean and welcoming environment.

We seek experienced Cleaners and Laundry Assistants to join our team as General Service Officers. Both permanent part-time and casual roles are available.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Performing high-standard cleaning duties such as mopping, vacuuming, sanitizing, waste management, and restocking supplies.
  • Carrying out laundry tasks including sorting, washing, drying, folding, and distributing resident clothing and facility linen.
  • Ensuring infection control protocols are strictly followed.
  • Supporting other departments as needed.

Required skills and qualifications include:

  • Previous experience in cleaning and/or laundry services (aged care experience ideal but not essential).
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to hygiene and safety standards.
  • Respectful and effective communication skills when interacting with elderly residents and team members.
  • Knowledge of Work Health and Safety principles.
  • Organized and reliable individuals with a positive attitude.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
