**Job Summary**

This role requires an electrical technician to join our service team at Taralga Wind Farm.

The successful applicant must hold a recognized trade certificate and have experience with HV/LV, hydraulics, and mechanical systems.

The department is a small team environment responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of the wind turbines in accordance with the contract.

**Key Responsibilities**

- Perform scheduled services and reactive maintenance on an as-required basis
- Respond to site calls outside normal working hours to undertake reactive maintenance on a rostered basis
- Maintain all company vehicles and plant and equipment in good clean condition
- Undertake operations and maintenance within the limits of training and authorisation including operation of HV and LV
- Ensure that each task is undertaken in a manner that ensures the safety of personnel, protects the environment and work methods are followed at all times
- Participate in safety meetings and adhere to OH&S legislation and demonstrate commitment to accident prevention

**Required Skills and Qualifications**

- Electrical trade certificate
- Full clean driving license
- Ability to read/interpret technical drawings to support fault-finding and/or maintenance activities
- Knowledge of PLC and/or SCADA systems
- Experience with high voltage systems and mechanical components
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
