Role Overview

We are seeking a specialist to join our team in the prevention of psychosocial harm.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a plan to identify, assess, control, and review psychosocial hazards to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to recommend strategies for reducing physical and psychological harm from psychosocial hazards.
  • Review and develop systems, policies, procedures, and guidelines to promote consistent work practices.
  • Gather and analyze information to help prevent harm from psychosocial hazards.
  • Participate in incident debriefing processes following significant events.
  • Collaborate with WHS Systems and Governance Lead to establish a process for ongoing audits, evaluations, and continuous improvements.
  • Build relationships with stakeholders to ensure a consistent approach to managing psychosocial hazards.
  • Develop and implement a best-practice training program for preventing and managing occupational violence.
  • Provide advice on occupational violence training programs and deliver training as needed.
  • Stay informed on current issues and practices affecting the management of psychosocial hazards and WHS programs.

This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with staff across various departments. The ideal candidate will possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
