Job Title: Compensation Management Specialist
">Compensation Management SpecialistThe primary function of a Compensation Management Specialist is to ensure the accuracy and compliance of payroll transactions with relevant legislation, industrial requirements, and organizational policies. This role involves reviewing and interpreting award conditions, enterprise agreements, and departmental guidelines to resolve any discrepancies or queries that may arise during the processing of payroll data.
">Main Responsibilities:- Process and validate payroll transactions in accordance with legislative and regulatory requirements to maintain data integrity and ensure compliance.
- Analyze and interpret award conditions, enterprise agreements, and departmental policies to provide authoritative guidance on payroll matters.
- Act as a liaison point between Payroll Services and internal/external stakeholders, including senior leaders and external agencies, to facilitate communication and resolve queries.
- Mentor and support junior payroll staff in developing their skills and knowledge through coaching, mentoring, and knowledge sharing.
- Conduct regular payroll audits to identify areas for improvement and implement internal controls to maintain data integrity and ensure compliance with audit and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with IT and HR teams to support system upgrades and improvements, providing input on testing, feedback, and change management initiatives.
