About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (Avionics) to join our team in Sydney, NSW. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient maintenance of our aircraft.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
  • Supervise and direct AME and Ground Handler personnel as required, ensuring that all tasks are completed to the highest standard.
  • Conduct category and category coordination certifications within applicable ratings, ensuring that all work is completed accurately and efficiently.
  • Participate in the Quality and Safety Management System, ensuring that all procedures are followed and that the highest standards of safety and quality are maintained.
  • Ensure that all data, release notes, and certificates of conformance for components and parts used during servicing or maintenance are accurately recorded and certified.
  • Carry out line maintenance functions, including aircraft washing and associated corrosion control inspection.
  • Assist with defect analysis and investigations, ensuring that all issues are resolved promptly and efficiently.
  • Perform other duties as required by your Supervisor, including assisting with stores issue, receipt, and dispatch functions.
Requirements
  • 3+ years mechanical experience on King Air B300/B1900; Falcon; Cessna CASA Part 66 Licence with any of B300, B1900, Falcon or Cessna type rating.
  • Highly skilled and competent in aircraft maintenance troubleshooting and repair.
  • Strong team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Consistent positive and proactive attitude, with a passion for safe work practices.
  • Australian Citizen with a Red ASIC card (or ability to obtain) and a current Australian Driver's licence.
