About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Mental Health Therapist to join our team at atWork Australia. As a key member of our employment services team, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with complex barriers to employment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments of candidates to identify their strengths and areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement personalized plans to support candidates in achieving their employment goals.
  • Provide counseling and therapy services to candidates as needed, utilizing evidence-based psychological methodologies.
  • Collaborate with medical professionals and community agencies to ensure comprehensive support for candidates.
  • Provide training and guidance to atWork staff on psychological services and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Relevant tertiary qualification in psychology with eligibility for registration with APHRA.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in counseling or eligibility to gain membership with ACA/PACFA.
  • Experience working within employment services highly regarded but not essential.
  • Knowledge of psychology assessment and intervention strategies.
  • Exceptional communication and rapport-building skills.
  • Proven ability to construct accurate and articulate case reports.
  • Ability to work towards generating positive outcomes for clients.
