Job Title: Financial Operations Specialist

The role of Financial Operations Specialist is to provide support to the finance team in various tasks related to financial compliance, processing and reporting. This includes invoice processing and payments, credit card reconciliations, revenue clearing and associated journals.

This position also involves assistance with budgeting and forecasting, as well as document review and improvement of accounting procedures and policies. Additionally, the successful candidate will be responsible for completing Balance Sheet Reconciliations, assisting with internal audits of Finance functions and activities, and performing month-end accounting tasks.

Key responsibilities include providing reports, analysis and recommendations on both financial and operational data, including key metric reporting and analysis. The candidate will also be involved in the preparation of BAS, IAS, FBT returns and other statutory reporting, as well as process improvement recommendations.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated experience producing complex consolidations;
  • Prior exposure to foreign currency transactions;
  • Ability & flexibility to work in a team environment & support the Finance team with completing deadlines;
  • Outstanding attention to detail & stakeholder engagement skills;
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills.
