Job Title: Research Supervisor

We are seeking a highly qualified individual to fill the role of Research Supervisor. This position involves overseeing the delivery of partner programs in Psychology and ensuring that online educational activities are facilitated effectively.

The ideal candidate will be familiar with facilitating online education, conducting independent research, and developing strong relationships with academics, support staff, and students. They will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a remote team.

The Research Supervisor will be responsible for designing and implementing research projects online while supervising fourth-year psychology students. The successful candidate will have a PhD in an area relevant to Psychology, be research active, and have the ability to design and implement online psychology research that can be feasibly conducted within the context of a fourth-year research project.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement research projects online while supervising fourth-year psychology students.
  • Supervise and guide fourth-year psychology students through all stages of a research project.
  • Conduct research and publish findings in reputable academic journals.
  • Develop and deliver online learning materials and assessments.
  • Maintain currency in field/s of technical expertise through continuing scholarship or advances in practice.

Requirements:

  • PhD in Psychology or related field.
  • Research experience and publication record in Psychology.
  • Ability to design and implement online research projects.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a remote team.
