Agricultural Operations Director

As a farm operations leader, you will oversee the management of the farm to achieve optimal production efficiency and profitability.
Farm Operations- Crop Production: Our annual tasks include growing a wide variety of crops such as grains oilseeds sugar cane cotton fruits and vegetables.
- Livestock Production: We breed and raise a wide range of animals including beef and dairy cattle sheep pigs horses and poultry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare annual forecasts budgets and business plans that meet our strategic objectives.
- Recruit supervise and train a team of skilled farm staff.
- Maintain accurate production records including costs marketing and animal health.
- Control production costs and ensure safe equipment handling practices.
- Minimise environmental degradation and monitor its effects on the farm ecosystem.
- Plan and organise the marketing and sales of our produce.
Career Requirements:
- On-the-job training or related work experience in agriculture or a related field.
- Specialised or vocational training in Science Humanities or Commerce is desirable but not essential.
