**Job Title:** Pool Lifeguard

Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and safety-conscious lifeguard to oversee the indoor pool area and ensure the safety of all swimmers. This role involves monitoring activities, enforcing facility rules, and responding to emergencies in a professional manner.

Responsibilities:

  • Pool Safety and Supervision: Supervise activity in and around the indoor pool to prevent accidents and injuries.
  • Emergency Response: Respond immediately to emergencies with appropriate rescue and first aid techniques.
  • Rules Enforcement: Enforce pool rules and regulations to maintain a safe swimming environment.
  • Cleanliness and Maintenance: Maintain cleanliness and safety of the pool deck, bathrooms, and surrounding areas.
  • Equipment Inspection: Inspect equipment and pool area for hazards or maintenance needs; report issues promptly.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Complete daily checklists, incident reports, and water quality testing as required.
  • Customer Service: Provide customer service by answering patron questions and addressing concerns courteously.
  • Safety and Security: Ensure consistent levels of cleanliness, hygiene, safety, maintenance, and security within the centre.
  • Team Assistance: Assist staff members with equipment in the water.
  • Maintenance Tasks: Operate pool vacuum and clean when required.
  • Training and Development: Participate in regular in-service training and emergency drills.
