Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee the maintenance, repair, and overhaul of aircraft and engines within our prestigious SPA program. As a key member of our team, you will uphold elite standards of safety, reliability, and operational excellence.

About the Role

You will be responsible for scheduling inspections, managing external repair services when necessary, and authorising aircraft release. Your leadership skills will be essential in maintaining exceptional safety and regulatory compliance while driving continuous improvement in maintenance practices and operational efficiency.

Requirements

You will require a background in Aviation Management, Engineering, or a related field, supported by formal qualifications such as a Civil or Military Aircraft Trade Certificate. Strong negotiation skills and clear, authoritative communication are essential for this role.

A Defence security clearance is required for this position, and you must be an Australian Citizen. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) are applicable, so your nationality may be a factor in determining your suitability for this role.

The estimated salary for this position is around $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience and location.
