Electrical Project Leader


About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to lead electrical construction projects across a range of infrastructure and renewable energy initiatives. The successful candidate will have a strong background in project management, electrical engineering, or a related field.

You will be responsible for delivering electrical construction packages on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. This will involve managing procurement, logistics, and vendor engagement, as well as ensuring safe working practices and compliance with relevant regulations.

The ideal candidate will have experience in managing large-scale projects, preferably in the electrical or renewable energy sector. You should have excellent leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver electrical construction packages to agreed timelines and budgets
  • Manage procurement, logistics, and vendor engagement
  • Ensure safe working practices and compliance with relevant regulations
  • Lead a team of engineers and technicians to deliver projects to required standards
  • Closely monitor project costs and take corrective action where necessary
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Electrical Engineering, Project Management, or a related field
  • Proven experience in managing large-scale projects, preferably in the electrical or renewable energy sector
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Knowledge of commercial conditions relating to contract management, valuations, and industrial environments
