Exceptional Dining Experience Host

We are seeking a highly skilled and charismatic Dining Experience Host to join our team at Altitude Restaurant. As a key member of our front-of-house staff, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional guest experiences and ensuring seamless service delivery.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet guests warmly, communicate approximate wait times, and manage seating queues to ensure a smooth flow of guests.
  • Maintain a seating plan and ensure guests are seated promptly, according to arrival order.
  • Ensure tables are properly set before seating guests and maintain a high level of presentation throughout service.
  • Communicate with service staff to ensure efficient service, accurate orders, and correct charges to guests.
  • Uphold the dress standards for patrons, following the guidelines set by the Director of Food and Beverage.
  • Assist service staff in delivering excellent guest service when required.
  • Report guest complaints or service concerns promptly to the Service Leader or Service Manager.
  • Ensure an adequate supply of menus and wine lists are available and presented to guests to the highest standard.
  • Farewell guests with a warm and inviting message, ensuring they look forward to returning.

About You:

  • You possess knowledge of the Liquor Act and responsible alcohol service (RSA certification required).
  • You have strong communication skills and the ability to manage guest expectations.
  • You have a keen eye for detail and a passion for maintaining high presentation standards.
  • You are able to stay organized and efficient during busy service periods.
  • You possess flexibility to assist with various tasks and training programs as needed.
  • You have a positive attitude and commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
