Uniform Coordinator Role

This role supports the basketball organization by managing uniform sales, distribution, and logistics. Key responsibilities include organizing uniform shops, processing online orders, communicating with members, and coordinating with club officials.

The Uniform Coordinator is responsible for maintaining organized stock, verifying team numbers, and streamlining communication to reduce unnecessary contact overhead. They will work closely with the Treasurer to order and top up stock, create pricing, and conduct stocktakes in Wix. Additionally, they will collaborate with the Bookings Coordinator to schedule uniform shop events and with the Communications Officer to promote uniform shop dates on social media.

The Uniform Coordinator must be able to pick up stock from suppliers, transport it to uniform shops and awards ceremonies, and store it as needed. They will also organize a roster for committee members or helpers to assist at uniform shops.

The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently. They will be proactive in identifying solutions to problems and have a customer-focused approach.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage uniform sales and distribution for two seasons per year.
  • Organize and run three uniform shops annually: start of each season, awards ceremony shop, and mid-season shop (if required).
  • Process online orders and arrange pickup from a designated location between uniform shop events.
  • Receive and fill orders from the Wix system.
  • Verify team numbers in PlayHQ to ensure no number conflicts.
  • Communicate with members regarding size selection and expected wait times.
  • Label and set aside completed orders for pickup.
  • Maintain organised stock either at home or in a club-arranged storage facility.
