Operate and Maintain Water Distribution Systems

Our organization is seeking a skilled Water & Plant Operator to oversee the operation and maintenance of our water distribution systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating machinery, conducting daily checks, and performing routine maintenance on plant and equipment.

  • Operating front-end loaders, turning machines, and screening equipment
  • Loading product into trucks for dispatch
  • Travelling to off-site locations when required
  • Collecting weekly site samples (e.g., moisture, temperature, porosity)
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A current HR licence
  • Loader and forklift/telehandler tickets
  • A valid Australian driver's licence
  • Previous machinery experience is an advantage
  • Mechanical know-how and troubleshooting skills would be beneficial
