Job Title: Care Support Professional

We are seeking a dedicated Care Support Professional to join our team and help enhance the well-being of older people.

About the Role:

As a Care Support Professional, you will play a vital role in supporting residents to live independently and with dignity. You will assist with daily tasks, provide emotional support, and offer companionship to residents. Your primary focus will be on ensuring the physical comfort and emotional health of our residents are met in a caring and nurturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting with personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming and feeding)
  • Supporting residents with mobility and physical assistance
  • Monitoring and documenting residents' progress, ensuring their needs and preferences are met
  • Collaborating with the broader care team to provide holistic support to residents
  • Fostering a positive and inclusive community atmosphere within the care facility

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual Support, or equivalent qualifications recognised under Australian Qualifications Framework
  • NDIS Workers Screening Check Clearance ID or willingness to obtain

About You:

We are looking for someone who is passionate about working with older people and enhancing their quality of life. If you have experience in aged care or disability support, this would be highly desirable. You should also possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
