Diagnostic Ultrasound Specialist

About the Role
  • Ambulatory ultrasound scanning for patients, encompassing obstetric, abdominal, gynaecological, and other speciality scans
  • Utilising advanced ultrasound technology to obtain high-quality images for diagnostic purposes
  • Fostering effective communication with patients to ensure seamless clinical interactions
  • Maintaining accurate patient records and ensuring timely documentation updates
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care
  • Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and quality protocols

Requirements
  • Diploma or degree in Medical Sonography or a related field
  • Graduate-level experience as a Sonographer in a clinical setting
  • Ability to perform a range of ultrasound examinations with precision
  • Strong analytical skills for interpreting scan results accurately
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for interacting with patients and medical teams
  • Commitment to maintaining the highest standards of patient care and safety
  • Registration with the Australian Sonography Accreditation Registry (ASAR)
