Role Overview

Marina Radiology is seeking a highly skilled and experienced imaging leader to drive the delivery of exceptional patient care. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in managing our sonography department, ensuring high standards of medical imaging services.


Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the sonography department
  • Perform and interpret diagnostic ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, obstetric, gynaecological, and musculoskeletal scans
  • Provide clinical leadership and mentorship to the sonography team, ensuring consistent and high-quality imaging procedures
  • Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive patient care
  • Implement quality assurance protocols to ensure compliance with industry standards
Essential Qualifications
  • Minimum 7 years' experience as a qualified sonographer
  • Registered with the Australian Sonography Accreditation Registry (ASAR)
  • Exceptional clinical skills and knowledge of diagnostic ultrasound procedures
  • Strong leadership abilities, with capacity to motivate and mentor a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
