Senior Solutions Architect

This strategic role is pivotal in accelerating cloud growth and strengthening market position through onboarding accounts into AWS.

You will collaborate with account teams and internal stakeholders to drive adoption, uplift partner capabilities, and position the company as a trusted cloud solutions aggregator.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Assist partners with onboarding accounts into AWS to streamline transactions and recognise revenue opportunities
  • Provide pre-sales technical support and solution design to reduce deal cycle times
  • Guide resellers in architecting secure, scalable, and cost-effective cloud solutions
  • Deliver workshops, training, and enablement sessions to uplift partner technical capability
  • Support partners with tender responses, proposals, and go-to-market activities involving AWS solutions
  • Collaborate with AWS account teams and vendors to align strategies and strengthen market presence
  • Maintain AWS certifications and stay current with new services and innovations
  • Work with the wider team to maximise AWS adoption and revenue growth
Key Requirements:
  • Proven experience designing or supporting AWS cloud solutions
  • A solid understanding of AWS core services (EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM, Lambda)
  • Knowledge of AWS security, compliance, and cost optimisation best practices
  • Experience with hybrid cloud architectures and migration strategies
  • Familiarity with containers and serverless technologies
  • Understanding of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code
  • Strong presentation and communication skills for partner enablement
  • Relevant AWS certifications (Solutions Architect Associate/Professional preferred)
  • Knowledge of the IT channel and cloud adoption landscape would be an advantage
