Senior Kitchen Team Member

High-volume kitchen operations are not for the faint of heart. A talented and driven Commis Chef is needed to help lead our culinary team in Sydney.
We're looking for someone who can stay calm under pressure, think on their feet, and produce high-quality dishes with precision. This role is ideal for a candidate who is passionate about food, committed to excellence, and eager to learn from senior chefs.
- Preparing and presenting dishes that meet our high standards requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and excellent teamwork abilities.
- Mise-en-place is crucial to the success of any kitchen operation, and this role involves ensuring it's always available when needed.
- Food safety and hygiene practices are paramount in our kitchens, and we expect all staff to maintain the highest standards at all times.
- This is an opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals, learn new techniques, and develop your culinary skills.
To succeed in this role, you'll need a Certificate III in Commercial Cookery, relevant experience in a similar environment, and a solid understanding of food safety and hygiene principles. You should also be able to communicate effectively, work well under pressure, and contribute to a positive team dynamic.
