We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Kitchen Team Member to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking meals to the highest standards.
Responsibilities:- Prepare and cook meals for lunch, dinner, and event service.
- Work across the grill, fryer, and other kitchen stations to ensure consistent quality and speed.
- Assist in menu preparation, portioning, and mise en place to maintain efficient service.
- Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and stock rotation.
- Keep your section clean and organised at all times.
- Support junior team members in their training and development.
- Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent trade qualification.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a bistro or high-volume casual dining environment.
- Solid knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy kitchen environment.
- Strong teamwork skills and a positive attitude.
