Key Responsibilities

We are seeking individuals who possess the following key attributes:

  • Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of psychological trauma and its sequelae, and intervention and treatment strategies including cognitive behaviour therapy or evidence-based trauma treatment interventions.
  • Knowledge of ambulance service functions and practical implications of ambulance work environment, with ability to deliver education and training across psycho-social areas.
  • Developed communication and interpersonal skills for effective liaison and relationship-building with diverse stakeholders.

This position requires an individual with a high level of emotional intelligence and maturity, who is able to maintain integrity in challenging situations and remain calm under stress.

The selected candidate will be responsible for building cohesive teams, improving capabilities, and achieving team goals. They will also be expected to maintain knowledge of current research outcomes and contribute to professional memberships and networks.
